ABOUT JEANNA

A Little More About Me....

Hello! I'm excited to help you with the new chapter ahead. It's humbling to play a small role in the process of finding the right home where you will make lifelong memories….maybe this home will be where you come home as newlyweds - or see your child takes his/her 1st steps – take their prom pictures – have your morning coffee – or where you retire with the love of your life….

Whether you're looking to buy or sell, I value the opportunity to work with you. Any agent can send you listings for homes, but true expertise comes into play on knowing how to write a competitive offer, being a fierce negotiator, working tirelessly on your behalf - and I will always have your best interest at heart. If there's a will there's a way, and I love to find creative solutions to accomplish what my clients need. Finding you a home is really about 3% of what a good REALTOR does for their client. It is getting you to the closing table where true expertise is essential. From having a network of professionals to call upon within type contractual deadlines, knowing how to translate and assist you through the inspection process (whether on the buying or selling side), understanding how market values are established and the limitations within a current market, knowing how all the various loans work, what they require, and ways to work them in your favor. I am a big believer in plan for the worst but hope for the best. I don’t like to be blindsided and don’t want my clients to be either, so I work hard to anticipate various scenarios to have multiple solutions available to we can continue on to the closing table without a hitch. This is my full time career, not yours, so let me take the stress off of you throughout the process. I’m not a sales person – I look at what I do as, I’m a negotiator and a problem solver.

On a personal note, I grew up outside Chicago, IL and have lived in Southwest Missouri since 1999. I graduated from MSU with a Bachelor degree in Hospitality & Restaurant Administration. As the Area Recruiting Director with Wyndham Vacation Resorts, I staffed a site which sold $100+ million dollars annually. In 2009, I founded the Killuminati Foundation – a 501c3 non-profit organization providing vet assistance to families/dogs in need. Many think of me as Killuminati's "dog lady" – now you'll know me as "the house lady!" I'm a die hard Chicago Bears fan. I have an on-going extension bucket list in my phone which also includes a stand-up comedy sub-bucket list. I love to learn about and experience new cultures. And we joke bc I'm Italian that if you ever need a contact for something, "I GOTTA GUY/GAL" that can take care of you!

And now the important stuff haha….I have 2 dogs. The first is a shepherd, sharpei, pit mix named Stabler. I rescued him at 6 weeks old in Cincinnati. He's still a pup, and I explain him as when Elf sees Santa in the Will Ferrell movie.... that's Stabler ALL the time with anything that moves! LOL  :)   One day while headed to stage a vacant listing, a black pit mix was playing in traffic (at a VERY busy intersection), so of course I pulled over to scoop her up. No owner came forward, plus her and Stabler became best friends quickly so.... Benson found me - now Benson + Stabler are together again! (Law & Order reference)
