ABOUT JEANNA

A Little More About Me....

Hello! I'm excited to help you with the new chapter before you. It's humbling to play a small role in the process of finding the right home where you will make lifelong memories….maybe this home will be where you come home as newlyweds - or see your child takes his/her 1st steps – take their prom pictures – have your morning coffee – or where you retire with the love of your life….

Whether you're looking to buy or sell, I value the opportunity to work with you. Any agent can send you listings for homes, but true expertise comes into play on knowing how to write a competitive offer, being a fierce negotiator, working tirelessly on your behalf - and I will always have your best interest at heart. If there's a will there's a way, and I love to find creative solutions to accomplish what my clients need. Finding you a home is really about 5% of what a good REALTOR does for their client. It is getting you to the closing table where true expertise is essential. From having a network of professionals to call upon within type contractual deadlines, knowing how to translate and assist you through the inspection process (whether on the buying or selling side), understanding how market values are established and the limitations within a current market, knowing how all the various loans work, what they require, and ways to work them in your favor. I am a big believer in plan for the worst but hope for the best. I don’t like to be blindsided and don’t want my clients to be either, so I work hard to anticipate various scenarios to have multiple solutions available to we can continue on to the closing table without a hitch. This is my full time career, not yours, so let me take the stress off of you throughout the process. I’m not a sales person – I look at what I do as, I’m a negotiator and a problem solver.

On a personal note, I grew up in the NW Chicago suburbs and moved to the Springfield area in 1999. I graduated from Missouri State University (aka SMSU). My first "real job" was as an Area Recruiting Director where I staffed a site selling $100+ million annually. Now the important (or more fun) stuff….currently I have 2 amazing rescue pups - Sicily is my 14 year old pit mix with no sense of personal space. JaydaBug is my 12 year old Shepherd/Sharpei who charms everyone. I started the Killuminati Foundation in 2008 which is a 501c3 nonprofit that offers veterinary assistance to dogs/families in Missouri. We also partner with rescue groups to promote adoption and the importance of spay/neuter. Growing up in Illinois, I'm a diehard Chicago Bears fan! (My first dog, Payton who passed away from Cancer was named for Walter Payton. I also has a german shepherd named Halas who passed away in 2018.)
